The two-week workshop consist of three sessions of repertoire:

A typical day at the QC Conductors Workshop:
|9:00 AM – 12:00 PM||Conducting Session|
|1:30 PM – 3:00 PM||Individual and Group Lessons, Score Review|
|3:00 PM – 4:00 PM||Guest Lecture, Topics in Conducting|
All conducting sessions are videotaped.
On the first three days of a session, conductors will be assigned a piece of music from the repertoire of that group and receive feedback from the Faculty Panel. On the last day, conductors can choose to receive feedback or create an uninterrupted conducting video to use for future applications.
Select afternoons will be reserved for special trips to take advantage the cultural offerings found in New York City, including:
- The New York Philharmonic Archives
- A walk through “Dvorak’s New York City” – discovering where he lived and worked during his time in America
- The Morgan Library & Museum
